Car-Part Gold Recyclers' Parts in Mobile Search Results
The Car-Part.com search has been optimized for mobile! Now, when someone visits Car-Part.com from a phone, tablet, or other mobile device, they are automatically directed to a mobile-friendly search page. In the first week this update went live, searches from mobile devices increased 12%. We also recently introduced a Car-Part.com app (iOS), with an easy interface and a workflow optimized for multi-part searches. Now, 25% of all Car-Part.com searches are made from a mobile device.
Searches made on our mobile website and mobile app only display parts from Car-Part Gold recyclers. The Car-Part Gold package includes our most popular web products and features, bundled together to increase your visibility online and reach more shoppers. It's the best way to stay competitive online because not only do Car-Part Gold subscribers display parts on Car-Part.com mobile searches, but they also:
- Display parts to mechanical and collision repairers who customize their results on Car-Part Pro
- Display real time delivery information to professional repairers on Car-Part Pro
- Include Part Images in search results (for supported Inventory Management Platforms)
- Use Car-Part Messaging to communicate with customers and fellow recyclers and to allow customers to verify your parts are still in stock before buying them or adding them to an estimate.
- Broker parts virtually to increase inventory without increasing physically inventory or warehouse space (and to provide the services online that you already provide over the phone)
- Are the only recyclers eligible to upgrade to MyPartsApp, a new service that provides you with your own mobile app and a bonus mobile-optimized search page for your business
And remember, there's been another big change to Car-Part.com recently: the default sorting method in searches has been changed to Search by Part Grade. Graded parts are shown first in the search results, and ungraded parts are pushed to the end of the list. Click here to review more information about how to keep your parts graded and visible.

If you use Bidmate, there are two special columns that only appear when you are evaluating Copart auctions or Car-Part Salvage units. These are:
- PreLoss AC: Displays the ACV (actual cash value) information from Copart or CarPartSalvage.com.
- Repair Cost: Displays the estimated Repair Cost information from Copart or CarPartSalvage.com.
This information is also shown at the top of the Evaluate Parts window when you are evaluating the parts of a specific vehicle.
