Updates for Checkmate Sales Pro, Checkmate Accounting in Build 82 |
As a Car-Part customer, we wanted to let you know that we've just released a major new update to Checkmate Workstation. If you are an eligible Checkmate customer, your Checkmate Build 82 upgrade CD will be arriving in the mail soon. When you get it, follow the instructions to install the update and take advantage of all the new features! Here are some of the exciting new features that you'll find in this update: |
- Advanced Bulk Editing: Review, Private, Category: You can now edit multiple parts at once to make them Private, send to Partmate Review, or edit the Category. (This is in addition to the bulk editing options you already had - Description, Stock number, Location, Base Retail price, and Base Wholesale price.)
- Save/Load Filters: You can now save your favorite filter settings on the Parts tab and easily re-use these settings in future searches. Remember that in your search results, you can filter your results. For example, if you can filter your results to only show parts that match a certain grade, year range, keyword, etc. Also remember that multiple filters have be applied simultaneously. If you use the same filters regularly, you can now save these custom filter settings with the Save/Load Filters feature and easily apply these filters in the future.
- Edit AUT records from search results: If you search for part code AUT (and select NOIC on the Interchange tab), your search results will show AUT records. You can now edit the AUT straight from these search results on the Parts tab. Just click to select the AUT you want to change, then click Edit.
- Accounting Enhancements: New interface for back office payments and credits: You can now apply "back office" payments to customer accounts on the Accounting tab. After searching for a customer, just click the Make Payment button or the Issue Credit button.

Print several part tags at once: On the Parts tab, you can now print all part tags that are currently in Checkmate?s three-part tag file (this replaces the 2,4,2 function in Checkmate Retro). Simply right-click on a part and select Add Part to Tag Queue. After adding all the parts to the queue, click the Part Tag Queue button to print tags. -
Add, edit, and remove interchange notes: On the Interchange tab, you now have the ability to Add, Edit, and Remove your internal interchange notes. On the Interchange tab, just select the interchange option and click the APP button. In the window that opens, click to highlight an interchange note, and then click Edit, Add, or Remove. |
