Easily Spot/Update Old Prices
in Bidmate & Partmate

We recently released a small but mighty new feature to Bidmate (Checkmate's salvage buying tool) and Partmate (Checkmate's portable inventory tool).
Bidmate and Partmate can now highlight old Price Book prices in yellow (and you say how many days is "old!"). You must activate this feature before it starts highlighting prices - - more info on that at the end of this email.

For example, you could set Bidmate and Partmate to highlight Price Book prices that were last set/verified over 365 days ago. That way, when you're buying or inventorying, you can easily spot prices that haven't been reviewed in over a year. When you see a highlighted price, just hover your cursor over it to see when it was Last Priced, then decide whether or not an update's in order!

Verify Older Prices
If a Price Book price is highlighted, but you've determined the price is still good, you can just hit the Verify button. That updates the Last Priced date to today's date, so the price won't be highlighted until it's "old" again.

Activating this Feature
You must activate this feature to use it! While you're activating it, you will set the number of days. (If you're not used to working in Checkmate Retro, give your support tech a call! They can get this feature activated for you.)
- In Checkmate Retro, go to Change Inventory Questions function (Checkmate Full: 6,10,3 or Checkmate Classic: S3,3 or Checkmate Junior: contact support)
- Press Enter until you see the prompt, Highlight Pricebook prices older than number of days.
- Type the number of days you want to pass before Price Book prices are highlighted, and press Enter.
- Close Checkmate Retro.
